STAFF NURSE (TEMPORARY)
We are looking to recruit Staff Nurses to join our In Patient Unit and Hospice at Home teams. The posts are all 12 month temporary contracts.
You must have be a Registered General Nurse with a valid current registration with the ability to deliver high quality nursing care.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (internal rotation to night duty is in operation). Part time hours will be considered
Duration of Contract: Temporary 12 month contract

Job Purpose
To maintain a high standard of palliative nursing care and to develop clinical expertise in symptom control.
To participate in integrated working across all Patient Services departments, with flexibility as needed to ensure effective service delivery in all areas.
Supervise, teach and develop junior staff and contribute to the development of Patient Services.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Registered General Nurse with a valid current registration
- Enthusiastic and motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to deliver high quality nursing care
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good organisational skills with an ability to manage own workload and prioritise demands
- Computer skills – competent in use of Microsoft and e-mail
- Ability to work within a team and confidence to express yourself within a MDT setting
- Willingness to keep up to date with relevant professional issues
- Ability to work flexible hours days/nights and participate in integrated working across patient services departments
